Sales Executive/Insurance Professional

The Moore-McLean Insurance Group invites you to share in their success by joining their Professional Insurance team. Reporting to the Executive Vice President – Business Development, your primary responsibility will be growing our business by attracting and retaining new clients. Whether an experienced insurance producer looking for opportunities to grow or an experienced sales person looking for new challenges, Moore-McLean is interested in talking with you about working in our offices in Toronto and Brampton.

You must be independent and also able to work in a disciplined manner from home, from one of our offices, on the road, and with a variety of clients.. Technical Assistant - Commercial Insurance

General Description:

·               Prime Directive: Internal Customer Support Processing Commercial Insurance transactions,

·                New, renewal and change documents and corresponding documents

·               Updating Agency Manager system client policy data

·               Invoicing as directed by Account Manager

·               Updating claims information on the Agency Manager system, including open and closed claim notices

·               Scan and attach documents as directed

·               Other duties as assigned

Personal Characteristics:

·               Professional, friendly and courteous in all interactions, whether with co-workers or customers

·               Team player adaptable to a changing environment

·               Perform well in a busy operation, remain calm under pressure

·               Good organization skills, ability to prioritize

·               Strong written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications:

·               Minimum High school diploma, post secondary education an asset

·               Excellent keyboarding and data entry skills

·               Familiarity with MS suite of products

·               Insurance related experience would be an asset


Account Managers - Personal Insurance & Commercial Insurance

General Description:

·               Prime Directive: Customer Support by Account Management

·               Processing Insurance transactions, including;

·               Manage policy renewals, endorsements and customer service on accounts per company defined service levels

·               Handle incoming/outgoing calls /e-mails/faxes re: accounts

·               Prepare premium analysis and coverage comparison for new and renewal quotes and participate in marketing renewal accounts as required

·               Communicate and manage renewal quotations and coverage changes with Insurer

·               Handle account receivable discrepancies

·               Review policy wordings & documents to ensure accuracy and quality control

·               Follow ups for endorsements, renewals, new business, and claims

·               Issuance of Certificates of Insurance/or review prior to Technical Assistants issuance.

·               Input all information in Agency Manager System accurately and efficiently per company SOPs and workflow policies

·               Monitor and meet personal RIBO Education Credit requirements

Account Manager – Business Development, Personal Insurance/Group Home & Auto, InSignia

General Description:

·               Prime Directive: "New Business development”

·               insurance sales to new and existing clients through incoming calls, emails, faxes and referral sources

·               quote and provide advice and council regarding coverage, appropriate product, pricing and payment options

·               function as first line underwriters, qualifying clients to maintain and promote quality business representing corporate objectives

·               review policy wordings & documents to ensure accuracy and adequacy

·               manage accounts receivables (collections and reconciliation – as required)

·               manage appropriate follow up activity

·               maintain professional relationships with business partners

·               TAM input (prospect data, NB data, file documentation)

·               Insurer portal transactions/activity

·               lead generation activity, alone & in collaboration with sale and marketing colleagues

·               participate as requested in PL planning and execution of growth, retention and continuous improvement goals and action plans

·               Maintain RIBO hours as defined by RIBO continuing education guidelines

Personal Characteristics:

·               Committed team player capable of multi tasking and adaptable to change

Qualifications:

·               Minimum high school diploma – post secondary education an asset

·               Current R.I.B.O. license with continuing education requirements imposed by RIBO

·               2-5 years insurance experience with minimum 2 years Personal insurance experience

·               CAIB, CIP accreditation or participation

·               Working knowledge of TAM or similar BMS

·               Familiarity with MS suite of products
